“I completed a project with Encompass in 2022, an eight-bedroom luxury rental property on Rum Point. Prior to engaging Encompass, the four owners had selected a different design and build team. In hindsight while well-intended, this group lacked the experience, resources, and project management critical for a job of this scope. The build suffered from significant cost overruns, design flaws, and project delays. I spoke with Eric in 2021 to discuss having Encompass take over the project, and that summer we began working with his team. The home was framed but 70% of the work still required completion. There were also numerous design errors that required correction.
Since that time, Encompass has exceeded our expectations in every aspect of the build. All fourowners live over 1,700 miles away from Cayman. We needed to rely on local expertise and oversight to complete the property. Eric and his team possessed the requisite customer service, project management, cost control and procurement skills to finish our ten-million-dollar build. No surprises, other than how easy the Encompass team made the process for us.
We initially did not ask Encompass to furnish a proposal out of concern that their services and portfolio of completed builds were out of our target price point. We learned a hard lesson about best value as a result. Many builds in Cayman suffer from cost overruns and extensive delays, and ours was initially in that category. Choosing Encompass was the best decision we made. The completed home is absolutely amazing and I would recommend Eric and his team time and again.”
